MEON TECHNOLOGY · FIRST APPLICATION: CILOPA

Qualified materials - New industrial applications

CILOPA is being developed for selected recycled plastics and regional agricultural fibres. Defined formulations and documented testing provide the basis for industrial implementation.

MEON · Image source: CIRPAL / MeSentia

The development goal is a durable composite pallet for reuse and organised recovery. Load performance, durability and economics are being assessed through the validation programme.

Materials and moulding in detail
CIRCULAR MATERIALS · OCEAN MATERIAL

A closer look: from residue to application

Suitable recovered plastics and fibres become composite components. Matched formulations, structural design and application testing connect the material to its intended use.

01 · MATERIAL & STRUCTURE

Lightweight design starts inside

A thermoplastic matrix binds reinforcing fibres. Ribs and hollow sections create stiffness through geometry, reducing the need for solid material throughout.

02 · COMPONENT & FORM

Directly into shaped components

Qualified feedstocks are prepared, mixed and moulded. The W2P route does not require an intermediate re-pelletizing step.

03 · FIRST APPLICATION

A tangible first use case

The physical pallet prototype demonstrates the step from composite components to a logistics product. CILOPA is the first focused application in TREON’s country model.

Development status: physical prototypes available. Load capacity, service life and industrial repeatability require application-specific validation.

CIRPAL · Digital lifecycle platform

CIRPAL is the digital lifecycle platform being developed around MEON. CILOPA is the first physical application.

SUPPLEMENTARY CIRCULAR CONCEPT

Put residual biomass to use

Fibres for pallets, residual biomass for heat and biochar: a supplementary concept in planning.

Integration and requirements

Bagasse fibres are intended for CILOPA; suitable residual biomass could provide process heat and biochar. Generation Carbon leads the planned carbon integration, with MeSentia connecting it technically to MEON. Technical approval and the CO₂ assessment remain outstanding.

Industrial partnership questions
What does the local partner provide?

The partner finances machines and the site and organises feedstock, operations and local sales. TREON coordinates the country partnership; MeSentia is responsible for technology and technical release.

What investment is required?

The indicative range is USD 750,000-1,000,000 per MEON pallet machine. Budget the site, infrastructure, permits and working capital separately. The project-specific quotation defines binding scope and pricing.

Which feedstocks are suitable?

Qualified recycled thermoplastics and suitable agricultural fibres, particularly bagasse, are planned. Composition, contaminants, preparation and product quality require confirmation through testing.

When can production start?

After documented technical release, secured rights, financing and site preparation. The timeline and scope are agreed for each project.

How does cooperation begin?

Introduce your company, target country, potential site, feedstock and timeline. TREON then assesses suitability and next steps. An enquiry does not grant territory rights or exclusivity.
